MMS in Xperia Arc S. Wont Send

good evenings,

I had my xperia arc s for less than a week, i have had this issue since the day i bought this phone, but i kept on forgetting it.

My MMS wont send at all. It states that its sending, but its not (waited for 10 -20 mins)

Ive looked through online,

tried updating, SE states that i have the newest version

tried reinstalling the internet and mms settings, then hit send again but it doesnt get through

tried getting a friend to send me mms, got through but no image and it states it cant be downloaded.

tried sending it, waited a long time and its still state its sending. Clearly not getting through.

I ditched my iphone for this and on my iphone it works perfectly fine.

so what is wrong with what im doing?

go to settings -> sony ericsson -> connectivity -> internet settings

make sure to mark the Correct & Helpful Answers

settings -> wireless & networks -> mobile networks -> access point names -> MENU -> add New ->

enter info

MENU -> Save

you can google the info

apn settings android "name of your carrier"

also try HAndcent applicaton from the android market..if the above suggestions doesnt helps..

Can you clarify that the 3G symbol with arrows appears when trying to send or receive MMS on the device.
