Sound is not audible

My phone has no issues so far, but the query now I have in hand is that my xperia sp sound (as in ringtones and alarm tone) are loud and fine. But my phone's present situation is that from the day I bought my keypad sounds, lock sound and dial pad sounds are not at all audible. Guys, what is my phone's problem and is it fixable ??? If so kindly guide me the steps to improve the sound quality.

Uts not working @uliwooly... i did as you suggested by going on safe mode. It was pretty wierd that all third party applications were gone but my fonts and the wallpaper app seemed to be running even though they weren't present in the safe mode. But I remember for sure that this is not the doing of any third party apps. I still don't get it.

From the day I bought this phone the ringtones and messaging tones are very much audible, but these dial pad, touch sound and keypad sounds were not much audible.

@ uliwooly, I downloaded the PCC, in this PCC what am I supposed to check for this sound issue I am facing ??

With PC Companion you can repair the phones software which will fix the issue in case it's software related. But please note that a software repair will reset your phone so you first need to backup any data you want to save.

To perform a software repair, start PC Companion and select Support zone -> Software update -> Repair phone.

But if you have sound issues it might be that the phone thinks a headset is connected. Make sure there's no dirt in the 3.5mm jack and try to connect and then remove a headset.
