PROBLEM WITH MY PHOTOS!!!!!!!!

I HAVE A BIG PROBLEM WITH MY PHOTOS, THEY HAVE ALL DISSAPPEARED!!! I WAS TRYING TO TAKE A PHOTO BUT IT COULD NOT BE SAVED. IT WAS SAYING. THE PHOTO COULDN'T BE SAVED. I TURNED OFF THE PHONE AND REMOVED THE SD CARD AND REINTRODUCED IT. WHEN I ENTERED INTO THE ALBUM, ALL MY PHOTOS MADE WITH THE CAMERA DISAPPEARED! MY ENTIRE DCIM FOLDER DISAPPERED FROM THE SD, WHERE THEY WERE SAVED. HAS ANYBODY AN IDEA WHY, OR CAN I RECOVER MY PHOTOS?:(((

Did U update your phone before they disapeared? Have You set the storage in camera app to sd card?

Time to time You rather backup filec on comp, or, store them on cloud.

I didn't, I had most of the photos in my PC but I took some photos 2 days ago...

Ok, where is the storage? SD or internal? When on SD, take it out and test with card reader. Check free space on both as well

Now I have copied the DCIM folder again on the Sd, but the photos does not appear , neither the DCIM FOLDER from the SD. The other folders like MUSIC appears, only the DCIM one does not....Also, the space from the SD is occupied by the DCIM folder twice, as I copied the folder again.

I have connected the Sd card to my PC but it is also not showing my DCIM folder...

Have you connected your phone to a computer or a laptop? If you have, try reconnecting it and finding the folder. Try opening Google Photos, maybe they are all on the cloud. Check the Walkman app, songs usually disappear too when these things happen. It happened to me a few times on Xperia miro but it returned after a few minutes. Try restartimg the phone.

I restarted my phone, and my songs are still there.

Take out the SD from phone and check it than in some card reader.

I observed that I have a folder named LOST.DIR and it has 3.55 GB. What is that??

It's a folder, kinda like recycle bin on windows, all the files that are messed up and damaged go into that folder, so yeah that might be your pictures
