my smartphone calendar do not stay synchronized with my GMail calendar after updating last week

Usualy when I have selected gmail as one of the calendars to be synchronized with my SP it work without any problem.

But last week I had to upgrade/update my smartphone, it took about one hour to, and since then it is impossible to synchronize my SP calendar with the gmail calendar, even if I select it in the list "calendars to synchronize". It doesn't stay selected when I'm going back on this menu.

So I have to create two same events to have it once in gmail on my computer and once again on my smartphone !

What is wrong with that ? How can I do to keep gmail calendar staying selected and connected in my Xperia SP?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

That sounds odd. Do you have installed any 3rd party calendar app in your phone?

First of all I would suggest that you try to clear data for calendar under settings > apps > all > calendar > clear data.

Restart your phone and try to show Google calendar again.

Hi !

There is no other calendar or agenda app, only the original package I use from years.

I looked in the discussions but I haven't find the same problem.

I try the manipulation you say but still no synchronisation ;

Even if the gmail agenda is selected in the menu, when you come back on updating the calendar, there is no synchronization

and when come back again in the selection menu, the only calendar selected is the apparel calendar, Gmail has disappeared !

What to do to work with this app? I need it to work

try to remove and your google account again and sync it once again with calendar
