Facebook is a notorious battery hog.

It sounds a little on the high side, but I really don't think you need to change the battery.

Mobile data makes a big difference. If I'm out and about the battery will be completely gone by the end of the day with moderate use.

Some reviews say you get 4-5 hours streaming video on a full charge, which sounds about right to me.

Well, sounds pretty normal to me. There is a battery review here, but I don't think it represents real world use:

http://blog.gsmarena.com/sony-xperia-sp-runs-through-our-battery-test-gauntlet-with-impressive-numbers/

I never get anywhere near that - no way would I get 7 hours video with mobile data on.

I have experienced a heavy battery drain and it was causedby the google play services. Needed for nothing, but it ate that battery in one day. So, go to settings-apps-running...and disable what you do not need.

That will give you more ram and battery

Google Play services usually mean that someting ks syncing. In my experience it was the Calendar. It literally raped my battery. You might want to check what is syncing at the moment, because it might be stucked in an endless loop. I had a problem with my Calendar, and it lasted for 2 days until I noticed.
