Unable to perform backup via PCC.

I am unable to backup my phone using PCC since the phone was updated.

It worked before the update but now it only backs up photos and videos. No contacs, bookmarks, texts, or settings etc.

I should have done it before I updated my phone but I made schoolboy error and forgot. Now i'm having trouble with the phone and need to do a repair but the only backup data I have is over a month old.

I've tried backing up individual files like settings, contacts etc but get the same message every time, 'back up completed but failed to back up some of the data'.

It recommends restarting the phone and trying again but this makes no difference.

Please help.

You should try to backup on the google servers(settings,contacts etc).Or just reinstall PCC.

I had this problem too.

Make sure USB debugging is switched off (if you've never used the Developer Options you can skip this) and try again.

If that doesn't work, then yes, reinstall PCC. A reinstall partially worked for me - it will now backup everything, but for some reason not the call logs. It often takes several attempts for it to work at all.

Alternatively you can try a different backup program. This one is good, and it can back up your apps too (which PCC can't).

Thanks guys. I reinstalled PCC and seems to have worked ok now. I've also downloaded the G cloud app just in case I have any further problems.
