topic Xperia T microphone disabled in Other/General

Hi,

I have an LT30p (v4.1.3) which I have been using with Sony Smart Connect - I recently found that after using the Bluetooth handsfree the internal microphone was disabled and I would have to restart the phone to get it back. This then got worse in that the mic was disabled even after a restart. (Note BT and wired headset mics still work fine)

Followed other instructions to cure this (Live wallpapers not used) reset to factory (twice) had no effect except for losing all my settings (Sony Backup/Restore did not restore correctly). The other effect is that now the keypad vibrates for every touch dispite changing every setting possible.

So now I have a disabled internal mic and a keypad that (annoyingly) vibrates at every touch.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks

PS Still not seeing any OTA update to v4.3 even using Sony PC update.

The other halves identical phone also on GG/O2 has already updated to v4.3.

I replaced the microphone pcb and all is working now.

Looks as if the microphone had died on me.
