4.3 Update help.

I have a Sony Xperia SP that I have had unlocked from O2-UK - How can I go about getting the update from 4.1.2 to 4.3?

It doesn't show up in PC companion or via wireless update

You have two options - one, wait for O2 to test and release, or download an ftf file and flash manually.

Some people did have problems with manual flashing, but it's working quite well on my (ex-) Orange/EE branded phone. I flashed the Australian unbranded firmware a couple of weeks back and got the new update today - working really well so far. It's pretty straightforward to do and as long as you be careful and back up all your important stuff, fairly low risk.

It's a good idea to have a look on the xda forum and see what the best ftf to use will be.
