Power Button doesn't shutdown after update

Okay, so I've had my Xperia LT30A for about 6 months now. Everything was fine. Last week after upgrading to Android 4.3 via update 9.2.A.0.295, I received a surprise. The power button no longer shuts down the phone when I hold it for a couple of seconds. It turns the screen off and locks it, but I no longer can shut down.

Anybody else have this issue?

Boot your phone in safe mode,see if the same occurs:

If you do not manage to get into safe mode because of the button,try a forced shutdown(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates 3 times).

Thanks very much. I did the force-shutdown like you said, and when I booted back up, the power button started to work!
