Phone contact list is not available from the car

When I changed to my new Xperia V the contact list is not loaded into the car, connection via Bluetooth (Audi A6 manufactured 2013). I can dial a number in the cars display and the phone makes the call and answer calls. Streaming music from the phone works perfectly. I had no issues with my previous Xperia Arc or Iphone so I suspect the Xperia V to be the issue.

Android version differs between the models and Xperia V has Smart Connect.

Does someone have an idea of what to do?

Hi,

This worked for me:

1. unpair the phone from car system

2. pair it again

3. look at your Xperia screen and you will see a notification coming in a few seconds after pairing

4. open it and it should say that your car is asking permission to access the phone book

5. allow such access

6. now, you should see your contacts
