Ringer never works

Hello everyone,

My Xperia TL ringer never goes off when someone calls. I did a software repair recently and afterwards eveything was working fine but now it won't ring when someone calls.

Are you using any 3rd party apps for calls?

I'm using a call blocker but I uninstalled it to see if there was a problem but it didn't change.

Repair your phone once more, it should work just fine, its an app acting up, or you can delete app by app until you find the culprit

So you say you repaired software and still the same?Did you use sony update service?

Does the loud speaker work at all? (while playing music)

I repaired the software twice using sony update service through the sony bridge for mac app. I did recently rename the ringtone. I don't know if that affects it.

The loud speaker does work when I play music or use the speaker function when talking on the telephone.

It affects,add the ringtone again in settings for ringtone.

In that case do repair your phone, I had a similar issue with my Xperia T but it was a hardware issue

Thank you for the assistance. I deleted the ringtone and readded it using the software from Sony and it works again. Renaming the ringtone was the reason it had stopped working.
