Could not able to restore my backup

3 days ago i have made a backup of all the data in my phone via pc companion.Today after repairing my phone with pc companion when i tried restoring my backup data it says "restore error" & won't letting me restoring my data.What should i do? My phone is useless without my data.

Do you have the backup file(.dbk extension)?

yes, i have .dbk file over 650 mb of size.

Change the extension to .zip and extract all you can.

I have managed to recover images,videos,songs & contacts through this method but it's still impossible recover my messages,bookmarks & notes.How should i recover my messages,bookmarks & notes?

I think there is no other way.You could download Recuva,I have heard of it but never used it.
