that's normal, there are many variants, it could be that you were syncing apps, the brightness of the screen was 100%, you were playing games or you have other background apps

Just bought a Sony Xperia P a couple of days ago and I was wondering, is it normal if I loose 1% of my battery for just 2 to 3 text messages I have sent? I am lkinda new to this stuff. I have read all the details about saving battery life and performance here in the page. Just asking if everyone experiences the same issue as I have. Thanks!

Yes,the phone will need some time until it adapts to the os conditions,so your battery will also take some time until it will work at full capacity.

Probably you're not just accustomed to your new phone yet. At first I was just like that, very OC with the battery life. If you don't observed any drastic battery consumption, its ok. Just enjoy your xperia P for a while
