It can support up to 10 fingers simultaneously.

but my xperia sp is supporting upto 5 fingers. tested using multitouch tester, atutut test.

Mine has 10 fingers supported.Probably you got your fingers all too close,try to spread out the fingers.If that dosen't solve it,re-install the app and try again.
