keyboard disappearing

Hi I have a xperia t and every now and then my keyboard disappears whilst im typing, or can take ages to appear or reappear anybody got any solutions?

I suggest that you try to clear data for Xperia keyboard. Go to settings > apps > all > Xperia keyboard. Restart your phone and try again.

I have this problem too and I use Swift keyboard.

Only started happeing a few weeks ago. Odd this was nevre an issue but is now arising a lot.

Very faustrating!

Sorry forgot to comment back saying what Alexander said has worked and now I haven't had a problem since so fingers crossed it carries on like it

After all this time of it working its doing it again...I've cleared cookies, data etc and nothing

This has started happening for me during the past couple of weeks too... and just like everyone else, it was not an issue previously. Very strange and extremely frustrating; I don't want to keep having to clear my browser cache/cookies and then reset my phone every time it happens.

If it's an Android issue as opposed to a Sony one then all the more reason to upgrade to 4.3...

I have the same problem but with my Xperia Go, the keyboard disappears and it's VERY frustrating, I did the "clearing data" stuff and it keeps doing it...

Must i be clearing data and restarting my phone every time? it is really frustrating. besides, any time i clear keyboard data, i lose my saved words/spellings and this makes typing more hectic. a better solution, pls.

Hi there,

I have gone onto your help page which suggests when above problem occurs to to into settings<app<all<xperia keyboard then reset. However when I go into apps via settings all of my invididual apps appear, I have no "all" & cant find the xperia keyboard. I have an android 6 but dont know xperia version. Please help
