Xperia SL- Device got hung unexpectedly

My phone got hung while i was switching it into airplane mode. its been 16 hours and still it is in the same state . I cant even reset the phone using power and volume down button !! Please help ! in suggesting What i should do !!!

if you want to reset your phone you have to

press and hold Power & volume UP

power & volume down = screenshot

There are a few things you should try first when you experience problems with your device:

Restart
Restart your phone to turn off all running applications and to free up memory. Press and hold down both the volume up key and the power key for 10 seconds. After your device vibrates three times, release the keys. The device turns off automatically. After the device is turned off, restart your phone.
Update

Reset
