is SEUS gone?

I clicked a link to sony ericsson update service in the rooting thread and page says it's not available for the x10. I have two x10 phones and a month ago it was working. I couldn't upgrade to the 2.3 firmware on the first try so I used seus and got rid of the custom rom. After the phone was returned to stock 2.1 FW using SEUS I was able to follow thru and get the new 2.3 FW Now that we're home from vacation I wanted to update the other x10 and I see SEUS is gone?

We now use PC Companion for Android updates: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/mobilephones/downloads/subject/pccompanion/xperiax10?cc=hk&lc=en

You can update as normal with this application.

I guess I'll have to try it. Does it flash a phone like SEUS? power x10 down and hold the back button and plug in to PC?

It works bit differently to start with. You connect the phone to PC Companion with phone connected nad

you will be notified when there is a phone update, or manually start "repair" in Support Zone.

Once you do the update, it works the same way as SEUS for X10. I think it's more automatic with Xperia arc.

I tried pc companion and it did work and yes it has a function to flash. Thanks SE
