Network Problem after update

Hi,

I bought my xperia mini pro phone in 2010. It was working fine until I update to

firmware - 2.1-update1

Build Number 2.1.1.A.0.6

Kernal version 2.6.29

I am not able to receive a call or make a call for a long time when the phone goes to stand by mode for some time. When I make call its not connecting to the network. Either I need to switch off the phone or some times after trying 10 times. Even when the call get connected my voice is breaking to the other end.

How do I downgrade my phone to original state. I tried factory reset. Tried to resolve the update problems through sony pc companion.

Please help me on this.

that seems to be a faulty SIM card, get a brand new SIM card and try again

Hi ,

My SIM card is working perfectly with all other phones. I tried other SIM card in this phone.

As I told, it was working fine before the the update.

just get a brand new SIM card, even if it seems to be working with your phone, just give it a shot, a brand new sim card, not another old SIM but a new SIM card

Hi ,

I tried the new SIM card ; But still facing the following issues with the phone.

1. Some times I am not able to answer the call or reject the call.

2. When I talk, my voice is not clear/breaking to the other end.

3. The voice from the other end is breaking to me.

you might want to take your phone to a repair center

Can I have a try to downgrade the phone to original version. Can you provide the binary file for the firmware.
