Problems with facebook using apps

Within the past couple of months I have had some trouble with apps wanting to connect via facebook, such as Spotify and Sims Free Play. Whenever I choose to login via facebook, it opens facebook in a browser and a popup apperas saying something like "This should be opened with a program" and does nothing more. Other times it actually does open in the facebook app, but brings a popup wanting me to choose a browser. No matter what browser I choose, I get a dead end link.

Since this problem accours with more than just one facebook using app, and that I haven't always had this problem, I was hoping you guys could help me.

I did reset the phone at some point, but I was actually able to log on Sims Free Play with facebook without any problems, and that was after I resetted the phone.

(srsly, I hate the fact that you need a facebook login to most things these days)

Sounds a bit strange! The Facebook app is up to date?

Try to go to settings > apps > Facebook > clear data and then log into the Facebook app again and try to connect with your games.
