Where is the water damage indicator?

My phone started getting very hot then it stoppped charging , someone told me that this is caused by water damage. I called AT&T and they said they are going to replace it and I want to check the water damage indicator before sending it to AT&T . Can anyone tell me where I find the water damage indicator on my Sony Xperia Ion?

remove the top cover and look for a small white rectangle if its pink or red then its water damaged.

it should be close to the SD card

Thanks a lot , I found it. mine is half white and the other half is pink , what does this mean ? will AT&T consider this a water damage?

that does mean there was some water damage, if you have warranty with att they will repair it even if its water damage, or if you lose your phone.

I have a sony xpreia ion which had some water in it and now I cannot use the toush screen part I nedd some help please.
