which 3.5 mm headset?

Hi All,

I purchased my mobile from UK, the UK package did not come with a headset, can you please tell which 3.5 mm does sony support ? 3- conductor or a 4-conductor ??

Sony support both CTIA and OMTP (for specific phones)

2010 and 2011 Xperias Sony use OMTP (and it seem that previous sony ericsson phones)

2012 Xperias use CTIA like most phones in the world

foes that mean who ever having a headset prior to 2012 have to buy a new one.....?? i checked at sony website the headset is too costly do you know any other suitable headset for xperia J??
