Album Photos/Pictures not showing

Hi Guys

Can anyone help me with an issue with the Album app - it's not showing any photos/videos/pictures etc in the app.

It does show the online content that has been synced with google+ and Picasa but nothing from the SD card.

The PC confirmes the files are still there (unchanged) and the several folders it had once shown in the app remain also untouched.

Quick Pic shows all the files and folders with no problem, listed as they are found on the Sd card, but the Album app..?

This has only just happened recently - either from the last update or the usage from google+ (I hadn't used it previously) or google drive

(what ever the heck that is- I did try to play with it though).

Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

Possible answer from Sony Support would be to do a s/w repair using SUS

If you had already repaired mention that in your post.. IF you didn't do a s/w repair, do it once and see..

Good tips by sbkhbk above. Try performing a repair of the phone's software first of all.

Funny enough a repair option hadn't crossed my mind.. I did however try stopping the app and clearing the data and retarting the phone, no help there either.

A thought had occured to me - and I don't know why I didn't think of this first (slaps myself on the side of my head) - I deleted the files and then reinstalled them and presto - all is well. Still not sure what the issue is/was or when it started, but I still feel the immediate upload of pictures to google+ has something to with it. I have since turned this off - so I guess we'll wait and see what happens....

Thanks guys, if I have anymore dramas, I'll give the repair option a go..
