SD card unmounted while charging my Xperia Neo v

Whenever i connect my xperia neo v for charing the SD card will be unavailable and i will not be able to browse gallery for images stored in SD card.

Can anybody help me on this.

Can you clarify if you are trying to view the images on the device or through the PC when it is connect?

I'm guessing he is referring to the fact that when you connect your phone to your pc with the usb cable, the phone ALWAYS unmounts your sd card, so you can reach the files on your computer (either as mass storage device or as windows media connect), unlike in previous versions android for xperia phones. The option to charge only when plugged in is gone. So when you just want to charge when connected to a pc, you always have to go to your launcher taskbar, and disconnect your SD connection. Which is an absolute pain, because when you have apps installed on your SD card, they will always stop working when you plug in the usb cable. For instance, I have skype installed on my sd card, and when I plug in to charge the connection with skype is lost immediately. I then have to disconnect SD option, then start up the skype application again.

I'm amazed Sony decided to remove this option (can't for a second think that this is something that's missing in stock ICS), as this has always been an option in previous versions of android.....

So please, bring it back! This alone is almost reason enough for me to downgrade, or go back to unofficial roms like cyanogenmod :smileysad:.

thnks Sjekster, for your reply... can u please, just provide the steps to disconnect SD card from launcher task bar... atleast i can use that option for time being...
