WIFI connection stability

Anyone here facing the same problem?
WIFI connection keeps dropping occasionally/frequently. (Connected but no data transfer)

At first, I thought it was hardware problem, i took to sony centre but they tested it without issue. (Using their router)

So it may be my router problem, but after reading discussions at sony forum, It seems the router settings which are causing this.

Any of u found this useful? I haven't tested it yet.

No, the thread doesnt work, im suffering from wifi now.
Can sony update their wifi driver or something to work with ALL possible wifi routers/modems ??

Ok. Well if it works using another router it must be something with the router you're using. The tips found in the thread you linked can often help but if not it becomes harder. But even static IP didn't work?

OK, finally solved it.
I routed from my router to my 3com router. Now its working.

Malaysia Unifi users:
If u're using RG TMRND gen1.0, the wifi most probably won't work stably for u.
Route it to your previous streamyx modem!

Connect LAN1 from tmrnd to LAN port of ur previous modem. Now use the old wifi SSID.

I have same proplem

my phone was fine tell I Upgrade to android V4 sandwich .

alot of Owner complain of same proplem ??

we waiting for real solution from sony

or we will downgarde the phone .

There won't be solution from sony.
Fix your modem to suit all phones.

Use the method marked as answer.

how colud I fix others modems ?? it's disaster .
