how to delete from gallery ?

I can not find how it is possible to "delete" an image or video in the gallery? When I open a video and click on the menu button (say right click !), there are only two options, "edit video" and "display setting"

So how?

open the gallery app -> press MENU -> select the pictures/videos that you want to delete -> menu -> delete
