Hi,

I have got this update 6.0.B.3.184.. Please let me know can i update it or no...??

Does it resolve network issues??

Manish,

It solved the network issue. But the battery life is not like that in .162. May be because while on .162 I was keeping my data off. Not its on for all the time with auto sync enabled for FB, Gmail and FB inside Xperia.

I updated my Xperia P to .184...

When my phone is in sleep Mode , It automatically awakes n goes to sleep again.. I noted many times since morning.. Is this a big issue???

Yup actually its a big issue as it drains your battery. Sometimes even I face this problem but it wont last for a long time. Did u update FW to .184??

Didn't find any, still testing bro, but seems to be a stable version :smileyhappy:, battery life pretty much the same didn't find any difference between 162 and 184, my xp still lasts for more than a day with 3g, auto-sync on

Yup i updated FW to .184

It does not last for long time.. For jus 1 os 2 seconds..

But its irritating me..

Great Kiran. But how come your battery lasts for a day. Mine just 14-15hrs max with 2G internet and even Auto Sync is not ON. Can you share with me the screen shot of your battery usage?

No idea why is that happening then.!! Try to restart ur phone and check if the same problem persists?

My XP used to give me same battery backup, I found that d mobile network type was the main culprit, Now I keep shifting my network mode from "GSM Only" to "WCDMA(preferred)/GSM" when ever I require 3G, otherwise I keep it in GSM Only mode, and keep Data traffic, background data, auto sync off all the time, I do not use any anti virus, any task killers, any unnecessary apps, I don't use live wallpapers, brightness set to auto(powe saver mode), screem time out to 15 secods,

I fully rechage my mobile today and share the screen shots tomorrow

Hi Kiran,

Which is the preferred Network type for 2G Internet so that i can increase battery life.

Please share the screen shots with me tomorrow. Even send the screen shot of the apps ur using.

Does 15 second screen timeout is preferrable than 30 second?? Just let me know some of the tips... and even I am not using any Anti-virus, task killers, battery saver apps. Even am not using live wallpapers.

Hi I am from Delhi.

today i have updated my xperia p to latest version 184. Still I am facing network drops during call. because of this today I lost one interview call also.dont know what to do.

anyone is facing the issue?

GSM is preferred for 2G, 15 secs screen timeout saves a little energy since it sucks less than 30, use your phone till your battery comes down to 10%, then switch off your phone, fully charge and test the battery life, a lot of threads been running on the forum about the battery optimization, make a search and hav a luk at them, vil defnetly share the screens, gud luck

Hi Manish,

I faced this issue during call. After update I have faced 2 times. but after few seconds network appears again.and i need to initiate the call again.

let me wait for couple of days.

Hey Sinto,

I updated yesterday and didn't face any issues so far, updated using SUS, you don't hav to wait that long jst try reinstalling with SUS, it resolves all the issues.
