Keyboard change from Xperia default

Hi, i would like to know how to change the Keyboard from the Xperia default one to Swiftkey. I do it in the settings but when i try to write something, it is turned back to xperia default one.

Long tap on any input box, on the box that pops up, select input method. There you can select any of the available keyboards.

i guess if you have set the xperia keyboard as default then clear it's default

Go this way

settings > apps > all > xperia keyboard > clear defaults

then go to messaging app and see whether you get the option to choose the keyboard
