Android 4.0 destroyed my Sony . What can I do?

I had the original 2.7 android version ... yesterday I get the update message for the Ice cream Sandwich... after installing this update my mobile started to fail . Apps are not working properly , they get closed , they can not be sinchronized, I receive internet conection problems and many more issues , my cell phone it is so slow now and the software its not detecting the camera.

Can I return to the previous Androis Version?

I reinstalled the Android and now I have access to the camera but I lost all the apps that I had downloaded ,

I still have problems with apps... I cant have access to whatssap for example... , I receive an internet conection proble , however I can navigate the net with no problem. I tried uninstalling the whatssap but it coninue giving the same error message.

Please Help

double check the APN settings, also is it a micro SIM card or did you cut a regular SIM card? also repair your phone once more with SUS > uninstall mcafee and any other

taskiller

antivirus

battery apps

ram apps and try again

Solved... thanks uliwooly .. I was having some APN problems and the whatsapp was not working even with Wifi conection ... I had to conect to internet 3G... It seems the phone its returning to its original state
