I was loving the phone tll the screen started to freeze black during call. I tried all the buttons with no joy and the screen remained black after call. I had to remove the battery to reboot, this reset my time and date to 1980!

I've got to try using my phone for work today, old spare being repaired. I can't even hang up a call.

Thanks for the reply. I did reset to factory settings and the time didn't fix, just lost all my settings and contacts and was still stuck in 1980 date wise! Then I tried a firmware update through the pc and this seems to have worked. I'm now synced again with contacts back!

It's made me nervous about the phone though. I had the x10 and never had a problem, I hunted this phone down because I loved it's little bro so much. It feels a bit like I'm just waiting for it to fall over again. I've got everything crossed the update will have done the trick. I really want to love this phone.
