use it. i don't think the sticker coming in default is acting as a proper screen protectr. and make sure you don't put any air bubbles in between it and da screen.:smileyhappy:

i don't say it protects ur screen from scraching b'cause it's scrach resistant, not scrach protector:smileywink:. even i got a little scrach afte 4 weeks. but it repels dust and it's smooth.

here's how i did it.

1. clean your screen with the tiny cotton cloth supplied with the protector for dust. do this until all the oil marks on ur screen are gone.

2.tear one side of the protector and i applied it from this side

3.paste one side of the protectr first and paste the rest firmly and use the little plastic card suplied with protector to get rid of air bubbles. if any air bubble was created use the plastic card to push it out of the screen.

4. after that tear off the last layer(as i remember there were 3 layers of the protector) which is the one on the top.and GOOD LUCK:smileyhappy:

http://www.wikihow.com/Apply-a-Screen-Protector

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExqpPN5p80E

http://www.ehow.com/how_5236534_attach-protector-phone-air-bubbles.html

http://voices.yahoo.com/applying-screen-protectors-without-air-bubbles-4982534.html

screen protectr repels dust particles. so ur screen is protected from the scraches caused from dust. but it won't stand a chance against a heavy scrach. and yes, u can replace protector with a new one when you got many scraches.

An additional question. What is a preferred method of cleaning the screen before the protector is applied?

May I use Isopropyl alcohol to remove stains, fingerprints and fat? Or maybe the screen has some coating that can be dissolved by the Isopropyl and something else should be used?

after watching that, I definetly would install a screen protector, the screen is scratch resistant, not scratch proof.. and seeing this kind of test make me sick..

it's just we really need to avoid using any liquids near the phone., if the water damage indicators get wet, your waranty would be void. even a drop on those indicators.

Pavan_Hyuga, is right, why use alcohol if you can clean it with water, unless you want your phone germ free.

yep, it's a screen protector, specifically, a shatter proof sheet, not a scratch protector.

just like in the video link I posted above.

well I'd like to think of it as a bonus. cause even the gorilla glass or dragontail ones are not scratch proof , only resistant, so sooner or later, eventually it will be scratched.
