my phone reboot itself helpp !!

my phone reboot itself and it keeps showing the sony logo then the xperia logo nonstop i have read other threads and try what they say about holding power and volume up and then wait till 3 vibrations and nothing the same. i also connected the phone by usb and try the method again and it shows my baterry ... it connected once but now pcc doesnt get the connection helpp please im desperate. my phone is getting hot and im scared what im trying to do is to let the batterrry drain but its getting hot the phone and that is scaryy, i'm using 4.0.4 ics

SUS it's NOT PCC, and at this point your priority is to repair your phone, sadly your apps, contacts, sms, mms will be deleted

install SUS > restart your PC > turn off your firewall and antivirus > run SUS > on your Xperia S press and hold the power button & Volume Up button for about 5-10 seconds > now press and hold the volume down and while still holding connect it to the computer

I had a such problem , and just flash the ( system.sin and kernel.sin ) by flash tools and solved the problem without any changes to my installed programs and data

to flash, do you need your phone rooted? and what flash app did you use in particular if you need not have to root your phone?

i would rather have my warranty in tact rather than perform the steps you have mentioned. a bit helpful though if have interest in rooting my phone, but I would probably do that once the warranty expires which is 10 months away.

I think one of the issue here is that no user should have to be required to undertake flashing their phone on their own just to fix something that may not necessarily be on their own doing.. and i think this auto reboot issue is not happening to all their models.. maybe just a bad batch.. and that we should be entitled to a replacement unit if ever this occurs..

the restarting issues might be the SIM card, did you cut your SIM card or is it a micro SIM card, yes the SIM card, you can do a little experiment, remove the back cover while your phone is on, and slightly move the SIM card

i've stated what I have observed.. so its not a SIM card issue.. it was working fine for 1 month, updated to ICS after SONY released it end of June or early July.. it was working fine for another month.. and then kaboom...

you haven't stated if its a new MICRO sim card or new REGULAR SIM that was trimmed to fit btw do you have

the Xperia S? Neo V? Xperia Arc? which Xperia is rebooting?

since you have being posting all over the forum, you need to be more specific
