After Updating to ICS in Xperia MINI

Before ICS update

I am facing issue of automatically wokring of back button issue.

After Updated to ICS

I am facing,

1. WiFi is not working properly.

2. Hanging and Restarting Issue.

3. Battery is not withstanding as like GB os.

Please let me know solution for this?

1 & 2 could be fix using repair SUS or PCC

As nolramlb suggested

All 3 issues might get solved after reinstalling your phone's software

Here is how

Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts,apps)

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

As other mentioned here ...repair with SUS. If my phone works without any issue and much better than GB, I don't know why yours wouldn't

About captive buttons.... I had the same problem for half year. This is related to captive buttons that where too much sesitive to temperature. The problem has gone after flashing GB to ICS. To be on safe side I have done repair with SUS. Wi fi acquisition of ip address works 2x faster than GB.

Frommy experiance with ICs I can say that I think a repair with sus will solve your problems.

After repairing thru PCC (PC COMPANION), ICS updated again without any Existing Apps, Contacts, SMSes.

Issues 2 and 3 solved.

WiFi is connecting, I able to browse/use internet required apps for minute or two then Apps says no connection Retry or Browser says timed out. But still Phone shows WiFi is connected.

Please let me know solution for this?

Did you try to connect to some other wi-fi point / router and see how it works ?

I made my laptop as WiFi Hotspot (Using Connectify software) then I connected the mobile to that. It is working very fine.

But still I able to connect to WiFi Device Directly but it is not working after some minutes. when GB os WiFi Device and phone working very nicely.

After updating my xperia mini to ICS (with factory reset) I had same issue with wi-fi as you described in point 1 (a lot of time outs, although wi-fi icon showed that my phone is conected to routrer).

I made it again working (as in GB) disabling WMM (Wireless Multimedia) - subset of the 802.11e - in my router configuration.

I hope that Sony will fix it soon, because I need to connect to wi-fi routers whitch have enabled WMM by default.
