cannot delete songs from music player playlist

Hi,

I deleted a few songs from my phone using file manager. However, the songs are still displayed on the music player and I cannot remove them from the player at all. Any suggestions please? Thanks in advance.

go to settigns -> applications -> manage applications -> all -> music -> clear data

settings -> storage -> unmount

turn off your phone -> remove and reinsert the SD card -> turn it back on

see if that helps
