Help on Rooting Xperia Neo V after ICS 4.0.4 update.

I know that many people already have probably started another discussion with the same problem.

Though the only answer i could find was the one that i had to flash my mobile , Which i dont want to do that :smileygrin:

Isnt there any fast way that i can just use one script and Root it fast and easy ? :smileygrin:

Rooting may void your warranty and you are doing it at your own risk

There is no root script to root 4.0.4

You don't have to flash the whole firmware but just the kernel from 4.0.3 update.. and once rooted you could flash back to 4.0.4 kernel back

Thanks for the Guide but still this doesnt help me..

Im sure that sooner or Later there will be something that will just root 4.0.4 just like it was done with all other versions .

To be honest you are right my friend the thing is i find this way too complicated and also too dangerous (reffering to flashing kernel)

Still also i dunno if its correct to do that i mean do u unlock this Bootloader ? cause i heard if this gets unlocked i lose warranty right ?

Hmm maybe you feel that way and and that's not wrong

Nopes you don't need to unlock your bootloader at all

Kernel is a very small thing, flashing it takes 3-4 seconds

You must wait though if you don't wanna be under any kind of risk

If you follow each step carefully then there won't be any problem...

For your info, flashing kernels are not risky

But you know rooting may also void your warranty
