Freezing Problem with Android 4,.0

Since I have updated my phone to Android 4.0.4 it has problem.

The phone freezes itself several times and remains the same for 2-3 minutes, then it reboots. ´Just today, it happened 3 times during one hour.

Before updating to this new Android, everything was working fine.

Do one thing, format your SD card and reinstall ICS as follows

Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts,apps)

Update/Repair your phone via PCC or SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

SUS ( Sony Update Service) ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe

I have some SMS and photos. If I format the SD, they will be lost.

Oh my, :smileymischief:

You can send them all to pc, after sending the files to pc, format your SD card, after formatting send back all the stuff to the memory card

Copy all contents from memory card to pc and format it. later on send the stuff back

Setting > Storage > Unmount SD Card

Then: Earase SD.... Yes?

I have EARASE, not FORMAT in my list.

Is it correct?

Unfortunately the problem persists.

I used each of PCC and SUS once, i.e. I did the reinstallation twice. But I am facing the problem again.

Do you still think the problem is from software?

If the problem still remains I think you will have to get the phone checked by a repair center. Contact your local support team for more info.

Today I visit the venodr to give my phone for repairment. I suggest you do the same, and ot wasting tour time and remaining worried.
