NEO V NOT STARTING UP !

Hello,

My phone neo v is not starting up what to do pls tell me.

i had unlocked the bootloader.

no custom roms was there.

i can only boot cwm recovery.

pls tell what to do.

it isnt booting no logo of sony erricson .

pls tell what to do

leave all
calm down,,, have water and then proceed

forget all what i wrote above
just foloow the steps now

1- download this http://sourceforge.net/projects/seandroid/files/xperianeov/Firmwares/NeoV.4.0.2.A.0.62.rar/download

extract this file using winrar

2- download flashtool http://androxyde.github.com/Flashtool/

3- install flashtool and after installing go to you C: DRIVE and > flashtool,, > firmwares> delete all the files present here > and copy the extracted file ( from point 1)

4- Run flashtool > click on flash > flashmode > it will show your firmware on the left > select it > click ok > it will prepare files > will ask you to connect your phone > do it > install it,

thats it,, step by step guide i gave you...
do this and ask anythin , i am online

the firmware which you downloaded, keep it safe for future as well

here is how to relock bootloader

1- download this, http://www.mediafire.com/?g1b5j712ajx4yjd

this time you don't have to extract it its a .tft file

2- and then same process ,, put it in firmwares folder and flash

again come back with good news

Hi Nabeel,

I installed and rooted ICS as per ur post and now im experiencing some issues like Wifi not connecting, system reboot etc.., I wanna go to Ginger bread now. Before that, I 've a huge data in SD card for the HD games, RS 2012 and SIx guns. I dont want to lose the progress. So, I know i can use the above method to go back to GB. But, what 'batch' mode should i use to back up all these progress in games and other settings in phone in Titanium backup. I also have CWM installed and took one back up already of the current rom

Also, once i go back to GB, i m planning to use the pandemic rooting guide (which will flash .42 firmware, root it and then upgrade to .62 firmware) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21912336&postcount=1. Do u think thats a good idea to root. Or is there any other easier way to root .62 firmware and have an option to unroot as well.

And do these flashing and software updating often(which is erasing all data again and again) cause any damage to the phone.

i know this is a neo V thread but i am posting a question here for neo L

my neo l just turned off by itself and now it wont turn on.

when i try to turn it on it just vibrates but nothing comes up on the scree.

i tried updating the software using SUS but the problm woudnt solve

it was in stock ROM.

and another thing,

it charges normally,

the red led light glows and becomes green when it is charged for a long time.

Was update using SUS successful ?

Was your phone's software modified in any way ?

Take the battery out and insert it again.

Charge until LED goes green and then repair using SUS immediately.

firstly, thanks for the quick reply....

it didnt help the 1st tym updatin usin SUS and i tried what u told about charging upto green light bt it still didnt work.

the phn's software wasnt modiefied in any way bt i did installed some paid apps from 4shared ( w/o actually paying).

other than that, i cant figure out what went wrong?...is it a display problm? jst out of curiosity, can u tell me how much it might cost at a local repair shopto change the display.

tooked it to a local repair shop.

its fixed now.

the problem was that something inside just went loose.

they just opened it and put reattached the DISPLAY.

there was no other hardware problem.

Hi Nabeel,

My Neo V mobile has suddenly got turned off and it is not turning on nor charging or neither detected while connected with USB, i have no idea what to do now.. If it turns on or even show logo then i can do flashing or somethng. but it is not happening, Please help me...

hello manoj519

you do no need your phone to be on update software.

you can download sony update service (SUS) and you can connect your phone while it is turned off.

they give you instructions to hold the back button and then connect the usb to the phone.

but AS what happend to me, something went loose inside so i had to go to a local repair shop.

everything was fine just that a plug went loose..

you might also have the same problm but do use SUS to update urself before going to repair it.
