upgrading "Error" for SE Live Walkman ??

Hi all,

please help me out ,

when i'm trying to update 4.0 its showing message as software error "failed"

should i need to select option "USB debugging " in Application setting -->Development-->USB debugging

or not ??

try Update Service instead

Connect your phone in MTP mode, no need to connect in USB debugging mode..

Also, make sure that your phone is getting deteceted in Pc suite.

still i'm facing the same problem , while my phone is getting deteceted in Pc suite and avaiable to upgrade 4.0 while upgrading it shows ERROR as "unable to install or start phone software update components "

what does it menas ???:(

have you tried SUS? SUS its not PC Suite

yeah i downloded SUS and installed software , but while connecting my phone through USB cable its not detecting my phone ...its showing message as

1.turn off the phone and wait atleast 30 sec

2.connect the micro USB cable to a USB port on your PC

3.press and hold the volume down key on the phone while plugging the USB cable into your phone ???

i'm totally confused ...help me out

simple turn off your firewall and antivirus

once it asks you to connect in flashmode turn off your phone press and hold the volume down key then while still holding connect the usb cable, don't release the volume key

hey...em olso facing d same problem

i.e failed software download

n even my SUS is not running.....it shows some error n asks to see some log file....

pls help....:smileysad:

Now you have to install the driver for S1boot download...

You can use the USBFlash_driver.zip given in this link for installing device driver for your device. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1239715

yes i desabled firewall and antivrus too,

but it didn't asked me to connect flashmode which u mentioned above and it not connecting my phone too !!!

It should be installed in your PC.. install it through device manager...
