Can the xperia p change colours in the transparent section and how can i make this happen, because on

my phone it only remains white at verry low level. And i read in another forum that xperia p can`t do that then my question is

why would you make a transparent section in the phone it would be complete useless.

the multi color translucent bar is only for the Xperia U

I agree with you, it's pointless on my Xperia S too, I can't wait for the Xperia GX so I can replace this phone.

Why can`t they change that with some kind of software update like android 4. This would really make the xperia p complete.

I don't think it's possible, since it doesn't have a different LED colors
