Screen Timeout is not working?

Hello ,

My screen timeout is not working even though I select 30 Seconds it’s not working and when I open that option again I always found that none of the seconds has been selected, Whenever I play the music if I get any sms the music will get hanged and then again it will start working properly but why my music player along with the music get hanged when I get any sms or any messenger notification? Even though I have updated my phone to latest version of adriod and still it gives me all this problem.

Kindly please help me out with this problem.

hey viraj are u using any 3rd party app that also controls the brightness of the display ???

why don't you try to perform a "factory reset"
beware .. it will delete all data, so backup

Well I dont know how do i find which will be the third party app...

Well before also I have FACTORY RESET. but still didnt event work......

which phone do u have right now , ARC ???

try it as soon as possible it will reinstall your phone software and your mobile will again work fine

no no no dont buy ARC S, if u already have ARC

shifting from ARC to ARC S is not worth it
shifting from any other lower mobile to ARC S is good
u must be knowing about the new XPERIA S ??
i will definitely advice you to go for it,,

there aren't many differences between ARC and ARC S nut yes wide differences when compared to XPERIA S( its a really powerfull gadget)

price would be in b/w 30,000-35000
it would be launched in March

ARC is a good mobile, if you are not facing any problems then keep , if u want to shift to ARC S, no problem , but the difference is not that much, though ARC S is much more powerfull than ARC
SONY will be releasing many mobiles this year , if u can wait then u must.... :smileywink::smileywink:

Well ARC doesnt have USB OTG and this is not woriking properly like how i discuseed above and even this hangs up alot sometimes and i wonder sometimes if i recive any cals this slide key doesnt work that time and call will reamins the same and im not able to recive it, like wise once this phone got wet completley and the display was totaly off i get it fixed with some amout and if u open the back cover and if you see there will be white color paper something like that but mine got red coz it got wet.

are you facing any problem in arc s and one more thing i want to tell you is sometimes when i click the home button my icons are not arranged properly then after sometime it automatcly chnages the icon arrange things i orels i have to keep tapping on arrange icon.

no i am not facing any issue with my ARC S ... it is running flawlessly

software repair will fix this issue
