plz i had got newly the sony ericson xperia arc s.but i have a problem finding the call blocking password. so how can i get it plz

are you trying to block certain numbers? or are you trying to set a password so only you can use the phone?

yes i try to block some numbers.because at work i need to specify just some answered calls and the others i need to not accept them

my last sony ericsson was s500i there was in the edit profile: accept calls. this underlined i can't find it in the xperia arc s

you can't quite do it from the phone (to select specific numbers)

you can try

settings -> call settings -> call blocking

if you want to block specific numbers and/or only allow certain numbers then you can download an app like this

you have to contact your network/carrier to get the password, but it's easier to use an app like the suggestions above

or if you are not allowed to receive any sms,mms, calls, you can long press the power button and then select airplane mode

just download both and test which one you like the most, you only need one. you will be able to create a list of accepted contacts that can call you and you can block the rest

I DO INSTALL THE CALL FILTER.IT'S MORE SUITABLE THAN NUMBERS FOR ME.BUT I JUST FIND ADD LIST FOR BLOCK CALL NOT FOR ACCEPTED CALL.BECAUSE I NEED JUST SOME ACCEPT AND THE OTHER I WANT TO NOT ACCEPT THEM. CAN U HELP ME MORE PLZ

Dear cattymano what about if I forgat the password and when trying call there is a massege apear to me (Outgoing calls are retricted by FDN) in this case what can I do.

Hi, I want to block my husband and his...shemale numbers on my Xperia Z. I can get into the call barring settings but

have no idea what the password is it asks for when I select all incoming...can you helpplease?
