    <description>&lt;P&gt;Can anyone help?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;camera has completely stopped working. I have reset phone to factory default etc to no avail.&amp;nbsp; Does anyone have a solution or process ihave to follow in order to get it working again?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;many thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi uliwooly&lt;BR /&gt;Many thanks for posts. I have tried safe mode but no success. I have also tried the following :&lt;BR /&gt;Settings &amp;gt;apps &amp;gt;all &amp;gt;camera&lt;BR /&gt;From this point I have 4 options&lt;BR /&gt;Camera&lt;BR /&gt;Camera common&lt;BR /&gt;Camera extension&lt;BR /&gt;Cameras&lt;BR /&gt;I am able to clear data in the camera common and cameras options but not the main camera or camera extension.&lt;BR /&gt;I keep deleting the data and have done in both safe and normal mode still without success. I have tried updating and keep trying to do repair and restore and even reset to factory settings. Hope you can help as it's very frustrating.&lt;BR /&gt;Many thanks again for all your help&lt;BR /&gt;Andy&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi there,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sincere apologies for the long dealy in replying - work is taking its toll.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Pictures and videos were previously being saved in the album folder. When phone is connected to the laptop - i can locate them via the path&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;internal storage &amp;gt; DCIM folder &amp;gt; 100ANDRO folder&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is nothing in any of the camera, pictures, album, movies, videos folders which i expected there to be.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have seen today there are other posts relating to same problem being dealt with by Alexdon (i think). &amp;nbsp;Iam going to go and have a look see if there is anything different i can try. &amp;nbsp;I am guessing though that you will have covered pretty much all, but we can always try.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if you have any more options to try, i am your willing guinea pig as its very frustrating - i enjoy taking outdoor pics especially this time of year in the UK with all the frost etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Something else i have just thought is the flash stopped working at the same time.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sincere thanks for your help and really appreciate it&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Andy&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have exactly the same problem in my Xperia E2033 (E4G) phone and also the flash stopped working and then I realized the camera was not working anymore.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Has anyone found a solution for this issue?.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I recall updating the Xperia phone to the latest firmware just before the camera and flash stopped working but I am not sure if this was the issue. Not a good idea to perform Sony updates it seems....&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I am facing the same problem since more then a month now. I have called service centre gave the phone to them but they also are not able to provide a proper solution.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It would be very nice if someone can suggest me a proper solution.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have tried rebooting, factory reset. Clear cache, disable camera app and restart and software update too.</description>

      <description>I have the same problem for my Xperia C5 Ultra, 2 months after I purchased the unit. I also did factory reset, reinstalled software, hoping that it was just a software issue.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The reseller checked my unit and they found out that the problem is in the rear camera module. Now they are asking me to pay 4,500php (100USD) to replace the camera module.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Very disappointing, Sony.</description>

      <description>Probably the only one solution for this case is just replacing the camera module, I've already did that action today and it's work.</description>

      <description>I have the same issue in my sony xperia c5 utra,nothing happen,i tried to resolve the issue by basic troubleshooting on the videos that i watched.. My front cam is not working. Stating that i have opened another camera in other apps. Its all regrets and disappointed because i choose this brand/phone over others.&lt;BR /&gt;The front cam is the only highlight of this model. I gues the best thing to do is to replace the camera module and you have to pay. So disappointed</description>

I bought my sony m5 dual just 2 months ago and hearing issues like this is so very frustration, i choose sony over iphone because its &amp;nbsp;cheaper yet it offers the best camera phones + it is water resistant but because of this issue i'm starting tto hate Sony. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It really worked out for my problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was very frustrated bcs i tried everything but they were all in vain. I rebooted my phone on safe mode as you suggested and i can open my camera now!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
