hello, try to boot to safe mode, to see if the problem persists. if so, try to perform software repair using Xperia Companion.. make sure to make a backup

I have a similar problem.

Whit light sensor.

When I want to listen to the audio via Whats app, the screen turns black and I can not adjust the volume, so I need to put my ear to the source of the sound in order to hear something. And when I put away or ut down the phone, the screen still stays black and I can not do anyhing with it (can't stop the audio, nothing...) When audio recording is finished, only then the screen lights up.

Same goes with answering an ordinary call. When I put the phone away from my ear, no matter if I am the caller or I receive the call, the screen still stays.

How do I solve this?

The sensor test for the screen and audio shows no changes on the images.
