Mobile network not connected when I try making a call

When ever I try to call someone it immediately notify me by saying Mobile network not connected. I am not sure what this means or how to solve this problem. Everything else is working including the internet connection. The only problem is calling or messaging. If anyone knows how to solve this please reply asap.

Hi @Hana1, sorry to hear about this.

The message that you receive is because you do not have a connection to your service providers network. However, you write that the Internet connection is working, are you perhaps connected to a Wi-Fi network?

I would recommend that you start with registering on your service providers network. To do that, go to Settings > More > Mobile networks > Service Providers > tap Search mode and choose Automatic.

Wait for the search to be finished and tap on your service providers (operator) network and it will try and register.

If you can't register on the network, try removing and inserting the SIM card again in your phone, or try with another SIM card.
