However, if it still doesn't work it is pointing towards this being hardware related.       <description>&lt;P&gt;My microphone failed the diagnostic, my phone cannot hear me speaking AT ALL. Meaning I can't call people either. What do I do?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(For reference worked perfectly just over a week ago, haven't used it since or seriously damaged my phone since)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Xperia M5&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Will your mic pass diagnostics? Can you call people and people can listen you?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Tried diagnostic again in safe mode, still failed. People can't hear me during calls, voice recordings don't work, google assistant and voice search unresponisve. Nothing works with regards to the mic.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
