I´m going to explain this as detailed as possible to get a solution:

I bought my M4 Aqua about a year ago. After installing a selfmade theme (official theme creator), is was sort of satisfied with it, but after one year, about one month ago from today, the standby-button stopped working. I couldn´t unlock the phone. So I gave it back in the store I bought it from to get it repaired, which is done via Xperia Care. After 2 weeks, they return my phone... well, I got a replacement... with the wrong OS too.. Android 6.0 instead of 5.0.

I remade my theme on my PC, installed it, and then I noticed it: a green, ugly dot in the icons bar on the top. In the middle of a black area. It was annoying as to look at it. So I turned it back in, and waited another two weeks for repair.

Now, about 2 days ago, it arrived and the letter said... there were no damages found. I got the same phone back..

Turned it on, opened Chrome after changing to the dark, pre-installed theme, and there it is. the ugly, green dot.

Now I had to wait 6 weeks already for my phone to get fixed, and it still is broken. I don´t have the money to buy a new one/get it fixed in an independent store, and need it. Also, If I send it back in, nobody can guarantee me it will be fixed. what If I get the same phone back? Or maybe a new one with maybe a broken speaker, or broken camera..

I just need to know what I should do now. I can´t even afford to re-buy the protective glass that was still applied on my first M4 aqua when I sent it in. And It´s just annoying to look at the black/red screen with that green dot on there. Should I send it back in again? Or should i sell it and buy a different phone this time? I bet the W595 walkman will be way more reliable than the M4 Aqua (hehehe)
