This will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory. Don't forget to &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/backup+using+Xperia+Companion/pd-p/Xperia_Companion_Backup_Restore" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="192-1"&gt;backup using Xperia Companion&lt;/A&gt;, but preferably without adding apps or settings to the backup.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Follow the steps given in blue links, and keep us updated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Settings app crashed</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Well basically my settings app crashed everytime i restarted the phone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;it will works again if i leave it untouched/inactive for hours.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried safe mode and it shows that settings icons turns into blueprint icon instead of wheel icon and the name changed to com.android.settings.Setti ,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="C_XM-p5VYAIlhpn.jpg" style="width: 562px;"&gt;&lt;IMG src="https://community.sony.co.uk/legacyfs/online/37234iE11B8992FE2E5A06/image-size/large?v=1.0&amp;amp;px=999" title="C_XM-p5VYAIlhpn.jpg" alt="C_XM-p5VYAIlhpn.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;before that, i also performed factory reset settings. Still doesnt work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;it bugs me bc i cant change my wifi or to do anything else that requires me to use settings apps&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope you guys could help please, i'm a student and my time waste a lot on figuring this when i should finish my assignment..&lt;/P&gt;</description>
