Twitter app is crashing the phone right after the screen enters the sleep mode if twitter app is on or minimized, has this been reported before? Idk if thats the actual problem but ive uninstalled the app and tried a full day and then it was fine but then i installed it back, since then if i leave it in the minimize bar it ill crash. Is there any solution? App was up to date except the System software [It wont update, it has been reported serveral times before.]

@Mercer1 what do you mean by crashing the phone? Is your phone restarting?

Can you try with the phone in safe mode? Another experiment can be removing the SD card.. If you remove the SD card, does it crash?

I have the same problem its driving me mad. Every time I go onto Twitter and the phone screen goes to sleep mode the phone crashes then reboots. You cant try this in safe mode as Twitter isn't available in safe mode.

Sony support are blaming the app but I don't have a problem with the app on any other phone so its clearly an issue with the Sony M5 but they refuse that its their problem.

It's not strictly twitter. They are the push notifications of twitter, using the mobile web site (so, finally, the web browser notifications). It's 100% a sony issue for the old telephone I had worked flawlessy with such notifications.

EDIT: it's no only twitter. It's every notification via web browser. I tried enabling push notifications in a different website (i.e. weather ilmeteo.net) and at the first notification the phone crashed forcing a reboot.
