It's full of manufacturing defects,
And sony will not make replacement,
I had bought a new sony Xperia m5 dual only one month before,
The proximity sensor doesn't work properly,
When I ask replacement they are telling that they will repair and give it to me,
Is it my fate to use a repaired phone where it has manufacturing fault.

I want my mobile to be repaired when it has fault on my usage within warranty period and (warranty terms and conditions),
But it is fault on manufacturing,
I'm saying it is a manufacturing fault because when I opened the mobile phone from the box and made a call but the red light in the proximity sensor doesn't glow and also the screen doesn't turn on when I remove the mobile phone from my ear during the call.
If it is a manufacturing fault they must replace and not to repair.
They should repair it only when it is not a manufacturing fault.
I didn't bought a new mobile to be repaired,
I've bought a new mobile only to be used.

What do you mean by Red LED light?

AFAIK proximity sensor works when some object come closer to the phnes surface (covering proximity sensor).

You can check the sensor's working in service test menu *#*#7378423#*#*

You can also use Diagnostics app by Sony for this.

Dear @Arulkumaran

The red light you mentioned is notification light and there will be no such light visible when proximity sensor works. As said earlier you check it in diagnostics and if you encounter problems while calling, test in safe mode, if not resolved, perform software repair

I've also had proximity sensor problem in Xperia M5 dual.
I've confirmed this problem in sony helpline number.
I've visited the service centre on the second day and asked for replacement in 7 days replacement policy in India.
I've told them this phone has manufacturer fault in proximity sensor.
They told me that is not a problem,It is default in the phone and so we can replace only when a phone has a manufacturer fault.
After one month once again visited and told that I'm having very disappointed with that proximity sensor problem.
After one month they are telling it is a fault and told we will repair it and give it to you.
I've spoke to cheif executive in helpline number.
He is telling me that he will repair and give it to me.
MY QUESTION:
WHY SHOULD I USE A FAULT PHONE REPAIRED?
WHEN I'VE VISITED THE SERVICE CENTRE SECOND DAY?
I ALSO HAVE A WITNESS FOR THE SECONDDAY VISIT...
SONY IS A CHEAT
