      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/990339"&gt;@Shubhamilu&lt;/A&gt;,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The test you are doing should say not detected unless you cover the&amp;nbsp;proximity sensor on your device. If you put your hand over the sensor, does the text change to detected? You can see the where the sensor is located in the picture bellow, it is number 2.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="ILL-SONY-14TP-FRONT-OVERVIEW-low" style="width: 179px;"&gt;&lt;IMG src="https://community.sony.co.uk/legacyfs/online/36673iA6882DC8715B155F/image-size/large?v=1.0&amp;amp;px=999" title="ILL-SONY-14TP-FRONT-OVERVIEW-low" alt="ILL-SONY-14TP-FRONT-OVERVIEW-low" /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How does the screen behave while you are in a call and are using the ear speaker?       <description>&lt;P&gt;I have done that and it still shows the same and while calling the screen doesn't go black that is why I have done the service test&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm sorry for the late reply. I recommend that you try and reboot your device to &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/safe+mode/pd-p/safe_mode" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="187-1"&gt;safe mode&lt;/A&gt; to see if this behavior may be caused by one of your downloaded apps as these will be temporarily disabled in this mode.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the same behavior persists in safe mode I'd recommend that you do a &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/software+repair+using+Xperia+Companion/pd-p/software_repair_2" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="190-1"&gt;software repair using Xperia Companion&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Let me know how it goes!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
