Sony xperia m5 update could not install

I can download the marshmellow update but when i click on install i get an error it says Could not install the new software version. Try again. I tried couple of times downloading the same update but it still doesn't install.

My Xperia M5 is not updating

I've just bought a Sony Xperia M5 3 days ago after my Xperia C has had its final breath, it came with marshmallow 6.0 out of the box and there was a pending update, I tried installing it, it downloads the update, restarts then a minute after restarting it shows a message that the update has failed.

what I've tried:

using PC companion

factory resetting the device

in total I've tried about 10 times, I've done some research here and nothing seems to help, please assist.

Dear Now PC Companion not support for the updates. so try to update using Xperia Companion. and if you have already try with Xperia companion there is a another way to update phone using Flashtool. you can flash you phone using flash tool with or without loosing personal data. i think it will be helpful for you.

actually I realized when I googled PC companion it gave me Xperia Companion, any link for this flashing tool and does it affect the warranty?

my phone is giving notification about its new system update with a build version 30.2.B.21. I can download the whole software but there is a problem when i install it and it says it cound not install the new update. i try using the xperia companion in pc but even my app in pc is not working and it is not downloading the update. please help me because I can't use my phone well...

I'm downloading the update, but when the phone reboots and the installation starts, the android stops updating and starts normally. Then the message appers "Sony Monile Communication has not been installed"

Did you tried update with Xperia Companion (PC)?

Software Update does not work on your computer with PC Companion. You are notified on the error code 0×803d0020.

I guess there is some kind of bug. When downloading the update (OTA), it will stop and you get the message Sony Mobile Communications could not be installed

Hello,

We have problem to update all of our Sony Xperia M5 devices from build 30.2.A.0.100 to 30.2.A.0.21.
After downloading new version installer starts but process freezes on picture with waves and nothing happens for hours. System do not start. After restarting device with button near SD card connector systems starts but with message that Update was not done.
